Designed for individuals within organisations that competitively attract and win business, 10667NAT Diploma of Business Development and Tendering reflects the end to end understanding and multi-faceted skill set and required for success.

From building client relationships and business networks, through pipeline, tender strategy and solution development to leadership and management of effective and innovative tender teams, communication and presentation of complex information, and continuous improvement, Tender Plus Skills offers a holistic qualification, reflecting the unique nuances of competitive business.

The course is offered face-to-face or through webinar, both options combined with self-paced learning over a period of 12 months. Participants will engage deeply with others from their cohort to learn, share and develop invaluable long term networks. Supportive and streamlined RPL is also available.

COURSE OUTLINE

Overview

DELIVERY Blended (face-to-face and self-paced learning); Blended (webinar and self-paced learning).

METHODS Stimulating interactive workshops, personal research and inquiry, knowledge sharing, experiential and action-based learning projects, workplace application with regular interaction with a trainer.

FOCUS Recognising business development and tendering as a specialist discipline with a rich and varied skill set required for success.

RECOGNISED PRIOR LEARNING(RPL): Supportive, streamlined RPL option available.

To gain the 10667NAT Diploma of Business Development and Tendering, participants will need to complete a total of 12 units of competency. Some units are delivered in an integrated form to avoid duplication. Units can be completed in any order.

These units of competency are:

BDTDMP001 Develop and manage a pipeline of tender opportunities

FNSORG501 Develop and manage a budget

PUACOM003B Manage information

BDTDTS002 Work collaboratively to develop and implement a tender strategy

BDTMDT003 Manage the development of a tender solution

BSBPMG521 Manage project integration

BSBLDR403 Lead team effectiveness

BSBINN301 Promote innovation in a team environment

BSBWRT401 Write complex documents

BDTMDT004 Manage the development of tender presentations

BSBMGT516 Facilitate continuous improvement.

DURATION

Participants have 12 months to complete their training and assessment and must commit to complete all work and assessments by the due dates. Participants who are progressing but have not completed the qualification within 12 months, may be granted an extension of up to 6 months at the discretion of Tender Plus Skills, or additional fees will apply.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Participants must have a current role that relates directly or indirectly to business development and tendering in their industry where they can apply their skills and knowledge to complete work placed assessments.

Participants in this course will require a high level of verbal, reading and writing skills that will allow them to read and interpret complex information, conduct their own research, and communicate complex information.

Participants under the age of 18 will not be accepted for this course.

COURSE FEES

Full Fee: $9,500 plus GST.

  • For individual Participants - Paid by payment plan in advance of the delivery of services: $1,000 plus GST initial payment with 10 monthly instalments of $850 plus GST paid by direct debit. If a Participant fails to pay an installment, access to the training delivery and all associated services will be suspended until payment is made.
  • For companies paying on behalf of a Participant - Paid in full prior to commencement of training.
  • Full payment of the full fee is required prior to a Participant being issued with a Statement of Attainment/Certificate/Record of Results.

Recognised Prior Learning (RPL): $6,000 plus GST.

  • For individual Applicants - Includes application fee and assessment fees. $1000 plus GST initial payment with 4 monthly installments of $1,250 plus GST paid by direct debit. If a Participant fails to pay an installment, all assessment services will be suspended until payment is made.
  • For partial RPL: Application fee of $500 plus GST. Unit assessment fee of $500 plus GST per unit in advance of assessment services.
  • For companies paying on behalf of an Applicant - Paid in full prior to commencement.
  • Full payment of the full fee is required prior to a Participant being issued with a Statement of Attainment/Certificate/Record of Results.
